POSITION SUMMARY: Responsibilities include managing all facets of multiple concurrent projects. The project manager is to maintain up-to-date and organized project documents and correspondence including schedules, requests for information, change orders, submittals, etc. In addition, responsibilities include administration of contracts and purchase orders as well as the subsequent procurement of materials. Effective and professional communication with all parties including engineers, architects, owners and subcontractors/suppliers is required to be successful in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS: The candidate is expected to learn in detail each construction project they are assigned so they can effectively drive the schedule and achieve deadlines. They should strive to anticipate obstacles in advance and communicate these to the project team. The candidate is expected to implement Crosby Construction’s safety program and ensure work at the jobsite is in accordance with OSHA’s Standards for Construction. The skills necessary to succeed in this role include the ability to create and implement short and long term schedules, utilize Microsoft and Windows programs efficiently, be self-motivated and take ownership and pride in your assigned projects, and the ability to embrace a leadership role and communicate effectively to the project team.
QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years’ experience, experience in water/wastewater projects is a plus.
